Duncan Moy
About Duncan
Expert Analysis

A big time athlete, Moy has some highlight reel dunks that pop off the screen. After playing his freshman year at Badger, Moy moved to Warren to play for Warren G Harding but has since returned to Badger for his last two seasons. After a stellar Junior season, Moy raised his stock at Midwest Live where he became a priority for Division II programs. Just announcing his commitment to Cal (PA) on Sunday, Moy will be staying close to home for his college career.

Midwest Live was a great event for prospects to make a name for themselves and Moy played some of his best basketball that weekend. The super athletic guard who can really pass the basketball had a huge scoring weekend and was making an impact in a variety of ways. Moy has attracted scholarship interest from Division II and Low Major programs. Ganon is his first and only posted offer so far but I expect more programs to show interest in Moy.

Moy was one of the most talented players at the event and had some big games for OBC as they baffled in pool A to 3-1 weekend. A balanced team effort for OBC, Moy was a standout all weekend for one of the best teams at the event.

The most talented player I saw on the night, Moy was showing off his incredible natural ability and athleticism in a tough battle with Nova-Germany. Moy has impressive ball skills and made a few plays where he got low to the ground and kept his dribble alive to finish at the rim. With a transition slam dunk and a couple flashy passes, the impact Moy made on Friday night was huge for his team. One of the best prospects to come out of the Youngstown area recently, Moy has a lot of traits that will have college programs intrigued. His biggest area of focus this summer will be knocking down perimeter shots and being consistent with his production.

Moy is a very good basketball player. Plan and simple. He has all the tools of a good basketball player. He has the height and length of his position. He’s got a wide frame. Sneaky athletic shows itself when he is jumping into the passing lanes and getting steals. He has the ability to score on all three levels but likes the three-ball the most. He can flat-out shoot it. My favorite part about Moy’s game is his IQ for the game. His passing is very advanced and you can see it on the defensive end with how he sees things happening before they do.

Moy left his home school to play for Warren G Harding last season but returns to Badger and should dominate that competition. One of the biggest sleepers in the state, Moy looks like a Division I prospect in my eyes.

is a prospect everybody needs to know about. Moy is one of the best passers in the 2024 class from Ohio and always makes some highlight plays when I catch him. Moy was a prospect who stood out during the high school season with Warren G Harding (he transferred back home to Badger this summer) but took his game to the next level for OBC this summer. I expect Moy to have low to mid major offers this time next year.
