Jacoby was another prospect who really impressed me on Sunday because he did everything I usually saw from him and then some. As a 6’8 C, Jacoby is naturally expected to protect the rim and rebound, and he does that consistently. On Sunday however he combined those skills with a bunch of jumpers, something I’d previously only seen him flash every once in a while. If Jacoby’s shooting development is real he could make a leap as a prospect during our next rankings update.

Jacoby is a prospect who’s got a lot of upside and this spring and summer he improved his production. Jacoby is incredibly long and has shot-blocking potential to be a menace around the rim. I also saw Jacoby be more aggressive around the rim with some poster dunks on smaller defenders. Jacoby is a small town kid who scholarship programs should be targeting to develop at their program and be a key piece as an upperclassmen.
