Marvin Good Marvin Good 6'1" | CG Hughes | 2023 State OH 6’1 CG Hughes (OH) 2023: Good got downhill early, with a nice spin to finish on the first bucket of the game. Was clearly the most confident guard on Hughes with the way he handled pressure. Good knocked down his first 3-pointer, as his defender backed up while he was in the triple threat position. While Hughes took a blowout loss in the end to Louisville Butler, Good stood out as a potential small college guard with his experience, scoring ability and quickness.
Ryan Davidson Ryan Davidson 6'4" | SF North Laurel | 2023 State KY , 6’4 PF North Laurel (KY) 2023: Davidson really plays well off Kentucky bound star Reed Sheppard Reed Sheppard 6'3" | PG North Laurel | 2023 State #22 Nation KY . Davidson runs the floor and got 6-8 easy points in both games I watched off quick over the top passes from Sheppard before the defense can react. Davidson knocked down a couple open 3’s and used his strength to score around the basket. I like the connection that Sheppard and Davidson share and this duo will combine for a lot of points this winter for North Laurel.
Cyr Malonga Cyr Malonga 6'10" | C Evangel Christian | 2023 State KY , 6’11 C Evangel Christian (KY): Malonga had a poster dunk early that brought the crowd to an eruption. Malonga did a good job keeping the ball high to finish around the hoop. Malonga also made a lefty hook shot that looked a little weird but went right through the hoop. Malonga is a clear high major target based on what I saw against North Laurel.
Jacob Meyer Jacob Meyer 6'2" | PG Holy Cross Covington | 2023 #170 Nation GA , 6’1 CG Holy Cross (KY) 2023: Meyer is one of the hardest playing guards I’ve ever watched, as his motor never stops running. Meyer plays with reckless abandon as he’s always looking to attack the basket. Meyer wants to get downhill going right and finish with his right hand by using his elite quickness to get around the defense. I can’t even count how many and-1 layups Meyer had today, but it was a ton. Meyer is one of my favorite players to watch in the country and put on another great showing as the former Western Kentucky commit will certainly have plenty of Division I coaches calling him this summer.
Ondre Wicks Ondre Wicks 6'5" | SF Western | 2023 State KY , 6’4 SF Western (KY) 2023: Wicks helped fuel a comeback victory for Western over North Laurel as Wick’s defensive energy was crucial in their full-court pressure that helped turn the tides. Wicks also threw down two dunks that helped swing momentum as he’s a highflyer from the wing guard position.
Teagan Moore Teagan Moore 6'4" | SF Owen County | 2023 State KY , 6’5 SF Owen County (KY) 2023: Moore was the biggest standout that I saw on Friday night as he single-handedly kept his team in the game against Westminster Academy (FL) until there were just a few minutes left. Moore scored probably 18 of his teams first 22 points and after his second consecutive 3-pointer the opposing coach called a timeout and repeatedly yelled out his number to let his team know who was cooking them. Moore is a bigger bodied wing who shoots a pretty ball and plays under control when attacking the basket. I was also impressed with Moore’s rebounding ability, boxing out players much taller than him and his defensive positioning. Moore has a couple Division I offers and looked the part of a mid major prospect on Friday evening.
