Continue ReadingAfter a great high school season, eyes now turn towards AAU basketball. Many of the state’s top players from the high school regular season will be competing this summer with their AAU teams and trying to earn more offers from college programs. This will be the handbook for players to keep an eye on this summer.
Elijah Walsh, 6’5″, Sr. – Walsh is a player not getting enough attention from programs due to the transfer portal pandemic. Elijah is an extremely talented wing that possesses the ability to shoot from anywhere on the court and has the handling to penetrate and get shots at the rim with ease. Walsh is long and can affect the game defensively with his high IQ and tendency to be in the perfect position for ball deflections and steals. Elijah Walsh deserves more attention for the skills he has. Definitely follow Game Speed Elite this summer to keep updated on his play.
Cayden Boozer Cayden Boozer 6'5" | PG Columbus | 2025 State #28 Nation FL , 6’4″, Fr. – This should come as no surprise to Florida hoops fans. Boozer is 1/2 of the twin sons of Carlos Boozer. Cayden is a big guard with the ability to make any play and shoots the ball extremely well. Cayden already possesses high major interest from numerous programs and should get even more this summer. Miami’s best kept secret is starting to be looked at by just about every program in America.
Cameron Boozer Cameron Boozer 6'9" | PF Columbus | 2025 State #2 Nation FL , 6’8″, Fr. – Cameron is the other half of the dynamic Boozer twins. Cameron has the frame and skill to be a lottery pick. He can get by defenders and finish nearly everything at the rim. Both Boozer brothers play for Nightrydas 15U team and have been blowing the competition out. I had a front row seat to watch them dominate teams at EYBL in Orlando.
Benny Fragela Benny Fragela 5'11" | SG Columbus | 2025 State FL , 6’2″, Fr. – Fragela is a high school and AAU teammate of the Boozer twins. He shoots the ball as well as any player I’ve seen. Fragela has really good range and can get hot at any time, which is a nightmare for opponents. He rounds out the extremely talented freshman class at Columbus High and will make a great addition to any high major program.
Marcus Allen Marcus Allen 6'6" | SF Norland (FL) | 2024 State #56 Nation FL , 6’7″, So. – Allen plays for Florida Rebels 16U and averaged 16ppg at EYBL in Orlando against really good competition. Allen is really skilled and uses his height to his advantage. Allen can shoot well and get to the rim with ease. The sky is the limit for the sophomore wing.
Anthony Robinson Anthony Robinson 6'3" | PG Florida State University Hig | 2023 State #133 Nation FL , 6’3″, Jr. – The junior guard has already started the offseason hot for the Georgia Stars 17U team. Robinson is crafty with the ball in his hands and very active on defense with his long arms. Robinson should gather many more D1 offers before the season is over.
