The 6-7 senior forward and University of Missouri commit played with a ton of length on both ends of the floor whether it’s finishing on the block offensively or challenging tough shots on the defensive end. Offensively, Allen finished with a ton of confidence getting to the rim while absorbing contact. His handle on the basketball as well as his decision-making continue to improve as well. Defensively, Allen showed flashes where he can guard in the paint as well as out on the perimeter.

Allen has also improved his mid-range touch where he has a huge upside and has proven he can be a knock-down shooter from up to 15 feet away from the basket. His IQ continues to rise as he has a bright future and could be a possible NBA Draft pick in the next couple years.

The 6-6 senior wing played with absolute toughness on both ends of the floor where he displayed his explosiveness around the rim. On the offensive end, he finished well around the basket finishing with a game-high 28 points in the win over Tampa Catholic. He also displayed a ton of confidence when it came to his smooth shooting stroke from the mid-range, as well as providing solid rim protection on the glass on the defensive end.

Marcus Allen, A 6-7 senior small forward and University of Missouri commit as he has long arms and is explosive around the rim. He has also improved his lateral movement where he is unafraid to defend multiple positions. He is also unafraid to play with a little physicality as he got bigger over the summer where he is strong enough to contain with bigger players on the interior. On the offensive end, Allen is a smooth finisher around the rim and isn’t afraid to play through contact. His outside shooting is still in work in progress but could have some potential in building an outside shot this season.

Allen brings a combination skillset of length and explosive athleticism. On the offensive end, Allen shows a lot of strength on the interior where he can finish above the rim at a high level. On the defensive end, he is a leader and showed a ton of versatility last season as a junior where he can rebound and block shots at a high level. In order for Allen’s game to take the next step, he will have to become a better ball-handler as well as continue to gain confidence in his shot from the mid-range and beyond.

The 6-7 rising senior forward plays with a ton of physicality in the paint and uses his strength and length to an advantage to finish efficiently around the rim. He did an excellent job on the defensive end as well such as crashing the boards and continuing to develop into an all-around prospect. His ability to knock down open shots from the perimeter has continued to increase this summer as well.
