He improved each week, becoming more comfortable on the court and finding ways to make plays even when he’s not scoring. We figured he would transition well to his high school team and that has been the case, playing multiple positions and seeing a nice amount of time early on, he is finding his way and is putting in the work outside of games and practices that will only help him elevate his game.
First Flight Guard Mason Dobie Mason Dobie 6'2" | SG First Flight | 2025 State NC : He’s hit the ground running which should not be much of a surprise to anyone that watched him play during his middle school years. His ability to knock down shots from outside is a perfect fit for the First Flight HS system but he’s showing that he’s more than just a shooter by scoring off the dribble as well, averaging over fifteen points per contest.
North Johnston Guard Marcel Freeman Marcel Freeman 6'0" | PG North Johnston | 2025 State NC : In the first nine games of his high school career, he’s made a nice impact scoring the ball and is a bright spot for a team that is struggling right now. He’s scoring just under thirteen points while also snatching 1.5 steals per contest, showing that he’s more than just an offensive threat
Winston Salem Prep Guard Yohance Connor Yohance Connor 6'3" | CG Combine Academy | 2026 State NC : He’s a player that we got the chance to see on several occasions over the summer so we were definitely looking forward to seeing how his high school career would start. To say that he’s off to a quick start would be an understatement, he’s currently averaging nineteen points and eleven rebounds while helping to lead WSP to a 9-2 record. He’s an athletic player that doesn’t have an issue finishing through contact and plays the game with a good motor.
Christ The Corner Academy Forward Micah Wyckoff: A raw player that has some work to do to develop into a prospect, but he’s been able to make an early impact this season. Due to his height and playing in a smaller location, he’s been able to somewhat learn on the fly which has led to him averaging over seven rebounds per contest and helping his team reach a 5-2 record.
