2024 Rankings: New Faces in the Ranks, Part I

The 2024 rankings have been updated with some new names in the state of North Carolina. Here’s a look at Part I of some new faces in the 2024 ranks.

No. 28 Sir Mohammed Sir Mohammed 6'6" | CG Myers Park | 2024 State #85 Nation NC | 6’5 Forward/Wing

Mohammed is an emerging name to know in the 2024 class. He’s a versatile prospect that can operate inside and out with an ability to knock down shots on the perimeter as well. He’s a wiry prospect with length that turns heads with his ability to make plays for himself and others. Look for his name to grow very soon.

No. 39 Randall King Randall King 6'2" | CG Northern Nash | 2024 State NC | 6’1 Guard

King is an athletic combo guard with a nice feel for the game in the 2024 class. He’s got good length to go with his size at 6-foot-1 that he uses well with his athleticism to get downhill and finish at the rim when given opportunities. Defensively, he plays physical while applying pressure on the ball and creating turnovers. As he proves he can knock down shots on the perimeter with consistency, look for more schools to look his direction.

No. 40 Drew Hollifield Drew Hollifield 6'0" | CG Shelby | 2024 State NC | 6’0 Guard

Hollifield is quite the combo guard in the 2024 class that finds himself in a nice position in the ranks given what he can do on the floor. He’s got a quick first step that he uses well to make plays off the bounce and has nice midrange game that he uses to create in traffic. He’s a prospect with Shelby High and the NC RimRunners worth a look.

No. 46 Bo Koebbe Bo Koebbe 6'6" | SF Living Water Christian | 2024 State NC | 6’5 Wing/Forward

Koebee is an emerging name in the Jacksonville area to keep eyes on at Living Water Christian. He’s a wing prospect at 6-foot-5 with quite the ability to operate on all three levels already to impact the game. He’s got nice range on the perimeter to go along with good instincts to make plays with the ball in his hands. As he shows his motor/energy more, look for his name to grow in the state.

No. 48 Mason Hagedorn Mason Hagedorn 6'10" | PF Combine Academy | 2024 State NC | 6’9 Forward/Center

Hagedorn is a big man prospect with good size at 6-foot-9 that he uses well to act as a presence on the interior on both ends. He’s been a presence attacking the basket and playing physical around the rim for CC Elite on the grassroots stage. As he improves his mobility and his ability to create for himself on the perimeter, look for his name to grow on the recruiting trail.

No. 50 Kahmare Holmes Kahmare Holmes 6'3" | SG Archer | 2024 State GA | 6’2 Guard

Holmes is a name that’s turned heads this grassroots season with Team Charlotte. He’s a lengthy guard prospect at 6-foot-2 that can operate on all three levels off the bounce with his athleticism. He can get his offense going in a hurry when needed and as he learns to make his presence felt defensively, he’s due to make a name for himself in the class.

No. 60 Jamarion Wall Jamarion Wall 5'11" | PG Richmond Senior | 2024 State NC | 5’11 Point Guard

Wall is an emerging floor general in the Richmond Senior rotation that’s due to make waves alongside No. 1 2024 prospect in the state Paul McNeil Paul McNeil 6'6" | CG Prolific Prep (CA) | 2024 #42 Nation CA-N .  He’s due to make waves as McNeil draws most of the attention in 2021-22. This summer, Wall has shown he’s quite the scorer on all three levels. He’s a lightning quick guard that’s a pest on the defensive end and a playmaker on the offensive end that can score in bunches.

No. 79 Kayleb Coles Kayleb Coles 6'6" | PF Wayne Country Day | 2024 State NC | 6’6 Forward

Coles is an emerging forward prospect that’s coming along nicely this spring/summer with Flight 22 Elite and reclassed into the 2024 ranks while making a move to Wayne Country Day School. He’s a long, wiry prospect that can play at the rim on both ends with tons of upside as a versatile wing prospect. Look for his name to grow in the state this summer and into the fall.
