Claggett is an underrate name out of Cannon School to keep eyes on with Team Curry given his ability to operate at both guard roles. He’s improved on his strength tremendously and it’s shown in his development on the defensive side of the ball. He’ll be an intriguing name to watch on the UA stage this spring/summer.
Terrell is one to keep eyes on this weekend as EYBL Session I kicks off in Memphis with Team United . He had himself a productive year in the JL Chambers High backcourt, averaging 6.4 PPG, 3.3 APG and 2.1 RPG on 39 percent shooting from deep as a junior. He’s an underrated two-way point guard presence worth getting eyes on in the class.
Highlights
Sanders is another name with Carolina Riptide to keep eyes on on the independent grassroots scene this spring/summer. He was quite the combo guard for North Lincoln High this past season as he put up 15.0 PPG, 3.8 RPG, 3.8 APG and 1.0 SPG on 51 percent shooting from the floor and 42 percent shooting from behind the arc. His 68 3-pointers ranked 13th in the NCHSAA 3A West, according to MaxPreps. Given his knack for playmaking, he’s a prospect for college programs in the region to keep eyes on.
Highlights
Fox remains another underrated name to get to know in the 2025 class after producing 10.5 PPG as a junior. He’s gotten back on the court and healthy to conclude the high school season with East Wake High. He’ll look to pick up where he left off with Knightdale Hustle Blue on the independent grassroots scene. He’s a confident scoring presence who’s shown he can operate at either guard role at a high level.
Highlights
Howard is an intriguing combo guard to keep eyes on out of Concord Academy. He’s a 6-foot-3 presence who’s shown he can score the ball in a variety of ways. He posted 9.5 PPG and 2.9 RPG on 39 percent shooting from behind the arc and 53 percent shooting form the floor. He’ll be one to watch with NLPB Next Level Prospects Basketball on the independent grassroots scene this spring/summer.
