Sanders exploded for 27 points this morning, putting a bow on another good weekend and showcasing some of the attributes that seem like you have to have to play for Carolina Riptide . Was knocking down perimeter jumpers all game long off the catch, but also had an element of creation off the dribble and also was able to play around the rim, even getting a big time jam thrown down as well. A really offensively talented shooting guard that should pick up more looks through the summertime.

Sanders is another name with Carolina Riptide to keep eyes on on the independent grassroots scene this spring/summer. He was quite the combo guard for North Lincoln High this past season as he put up 15.0 PPG, 3.8 RPG, 3.8 APG and 1.0 SPG on 51 percent shooting from the floor and 42 percent shooting from behind the arc. His 68 3-pointers ranked 13th in the NCHSAA 3A West, according to MaxPreps. Given his knack for playmaking, he’s a prospect for college programs in the region to keep eyes on.

, is in line to have a jump over his junior year at NLHS. He’s a good shooter that knocked down a lot of threes last year, but does have some efficiency concerns that can be attributed to his high usage rate. He’s another high IQ guy that is looking to make the right pass, not the one that benefits him the most. Coachable and high character, Sanders should be an integral part of Noth Lincoln’s improved season this year.

is another prospect with
Carolina Riptide
Kody/North Lincoln High that’s quietly making a name for himself in the 2025 class. He’s a 6-foot-2 sharpshooter that’s capable of knocking down shots anywhere on the perimeter with his limitless range. He’s a confident shooting guard presence for DII and DIII programs in the region to get to know given his budding body of work on the floor.

. He finished as a top three scorer on the season with 12.2 ppg along with 4.0 apg, 2.9 rpg and 1.1 spg on the wing for the Knights as they made a deep run in the state playoffs. He knocked down 45 3-pointers as a sophomore but something to improve upon is his efficiency from behind the arc. He shot just 29 percent from 3-point land this past season but look for that to improve as he plays with
NC Spartans
on the grassroots stage.

Sanders was impressive all weekend on both ends of the floor, showcasing offensive and defensive versatility. He can really fill it up from deep, getting a lot of shots off open kickouts or other catch and shoot jumpers. He was able to play downhill and in the midrange too, hitting pull-ups and making good passes. Defensively he played with a lot of toughness and intensity, coming up clapping after his team got a turnover or a stop, always happy when someone made a play. He was a great team player all weekend, and his game has a lot more room for him to grow into.
