Karr wasn’t scoring as much as he sometimes can on Saturday when I saw him, but he ran the offense with precision and technicality, and really projects as a unique player due to his size and passing ability. I’d say he’s a 6’5 point guard who can switch easily on defense, where he helped his team by making it easy to trade guys and play team defense. Offensively, he was whipping passes around and finding teammates with a blend of vision and knowledge when to try and hit the home run versus hitting the single. I think he’s a kid who could receive D1 offers soon.

Karr has to be the best statistic performer of the week as he notched a triple double with a statline of 37/15/10/6 vs South Iredell, and then followed it up with almost another one with a 25/13/8 statline vs Statesville. He’s a jumbo playmaker that can play on or off the ball, and score from all areas of the floor. Should be someone D1 schools start to take looks at during the season and over the summertime in grassroots action.

Last Season Stats – 14.2 PPG, 10.7 RPG, 4.9 APG
Karr is such a hybrid player that should receive much more attention this season with all that he brings to the court. He’s a 6’5 point forward with a tight handle and playmaking instincts that are hard to find at his size. Very crafty and intelligent with the windows and passes his makes, using his length to his advantage. Has the size and lateral movement to switch and match up with guards, wings and forwards. Should be a huge stockriser over the next 12 months if all goes to plan.
