Mason Hagedorn
About Mason
Expert Analysis
Jay Anderson | Prep Hoops Scout
Hagedorn is a sizeable name now at Huntington Prep to keep eyes on in the 2025 class. At 6-foot-9, he’s a prospect who can do a variety of things well in the frontcourt and beyond. He’s shown he can rebound in bunches as well as stretch the floor with his 3-point shoot ability with Team Charlotte . He’ll need to have more of that on display in Session II as they look to get over the hump and get their first victory in UAA action.

The 6-10 rising senior power forward can play multiple positions on both ends of the floor, as often you can see Hagedorn guard the perimeter at a high level. His defensive energy is contagious as he is also a efficient rebounder who has good footwork to get to his spots. Hagedorn on the offensive end has the ability to knock down shots across multiple levels as he has improved each year since his freshman season. Hagedorn has gained interest from multiple mid-major D1 schools.

is due for a breakout senior campaign after a productive grassroots season with the Atlanta Timberwolves. He’s a versatile big man that can operate at the stretch-forward spot given his ability to defend in the paint and on the perimeter just as well as he can operate as a finisher around the rim and perimeter presence offensively. He’s got a strong knack for rebounding the ball on both ends of the floor and keeping things alive with his length and athleticism. DI and DII programs would be wise to get eyes on him at Combine Academy this season.

is another frontcourt prospect with Combine Academy that’s worth getting to know. He plays with a ton of energy in the painted area and on the perimeter on both ends of the floor, looking to make an impact at every turn. He’s emerged quite well at the stretch-forward spot and made huge strides with Combine AAU on the grassroots scene this spring and is one to keep an eye on this summer.
