A mobile rim runner that plays with a consistent motor. Threatt has the length and size to impact the game not just around the basket but from the outside as well. He’s a volume rebounder who affects the glass on both ends and is responsible for a lot of second chance opportunities with his activity. He continues to show excellent feel and anticipation to put himself in advantageous positions to win plays. One of the top 10 players of the 2029 class in the state with continued upside.

A long and athletically gifted prospect who understands how to utilize his physical tools to his advantage. He played above the rim consistently throughout the day with multiple breakaway dunks while showing his volume rebounding ability as well. Threatt attacked on the offensive glass for numerous second chance possessions and showed toughness battling through contact. His creation ability also was demonstrated going off the bounce with a spin move in traffic and a hesitation drive where he finished for an and1. Defensively his length and explosiveness gives him a considerable amount of upside to be one of the top 2029 recruits in the state.

Threatt is a four man that brings a ton of physical and developmental upside to the table combined with his athletic gifts and motor he has already shown.  There was some Morez Johnson comps thrown around by our staff in July.  High energy De La Salle post snatches rebounds at a high level and is an impactful defender being able to switch along with protect the rim.  Finishes out of the dunker spot with explosive slams, puts it on the deck from the mid-post, and rim runs.

Saw Threat play earlier this spring with AAU club and he continued to impress over the weekend slate with school team. Presents plus length at the 3 or 4 spot and utilizes his wingspan to advantage. Previously he popped out with mobility mostly around the basket and playing above the rim. In the afternoon game I watched on Saturday his shooting skill provided another piece he can go to. He spotted up for three knockdown treys at a high clip and continued to show patience on the catch. The versatility and upside is certainly here for the De La Salle product.
