Gulley is a pit-bull at the point for Bloom and the Fire.  He is a bowling ball with the rock in his hands going downhill as such a tough cover.  We love how he attacks the cup with burst both in the half court and using his blinding speed in transition.  Such an acrobatic finisher at the cup being able to maneuver his body along with utilize his strength to finish inside.  Quality shooter both pulling up in the mid-range as well as knocking in spot up shots.  Has improved as a distributor over the last year and is a pesky on ball defender.

Gulley is a bowling ball guard with his compact frame, strength, and elite athleticism.  Plays with a ton of speed and juice with the ball in his hands flying to the rim for finishes at the rim.  Downhill slasher first and foremost that can also knock down shots.

If there was a defensive stopper of the day it would go to Mr. Gulley. The young Trojan had some of the quickest hands I saw guarding the ball and pressuring. He is equipped with quick lateral foot movement that makes it awfully tough for a ball handler to get comfortable. He anticipates the next step and came up with a multitude of turnovers. His finishing ability provides just as much valuable around the cup vs more size or length. Has a quick and shifty handle. Will speed the game up in a hurry turning defense into offense or providing simple opportunities for teammates. Showcased why he’s one of the top guards in the 29′ class.

Keiwon may have been the most dominant player I saw all weekend at the 15u level. Anytime he wanted to get to the rim, Keiwon was able to blow by defenders off the dribble. His quick first step, shifty handle, and explosive burst off the floor made him nearly impossible to stop in isolation. Sag off though and Gulley could simply pull up from three. With Mac Irvin Fire playing a high pressure defense where they were constantly looking to force turnovers, Keiwon was able to get out in the open floor to either finish or drop dimes to his teammates constantly throughout the game. He even showcased impressive bounce getting up for an alley-oop dunk against LVL on Saturday morning.
