Frazier just arrived at Iowa United Prep this week and hit the ground running in a key league victory on Saturday. One of the most athletic forwards in the country, Frazier moves at a different speed and burst than most prospects his size. Able to finish over smaller defenders in the paint, Frazier can find himself matched-up with wings and guards when he run the floor and beats other forwards down the court. Hoping to see Frazier become stronger with the ball and showcase more ability from a triple threat but the athletic dynamic he brings to Iowa United Prep in the open court and as a rebounder should provide a big boost.

I first watched Tyran Frazier at the Pangos All-American Camp this summer, where he impressed with monster dunks that had fans out of their seats.
Last night, what stood out most was his feel for the game and his consistent impact on both ends of the floor. Offensively, he ran the court hard, made himself a reliable target for his guards, and scored in a variety of ways, including a floater, a tough reverse layup, and a couple of dunks. Defensively, he used his length and athleticism to protect the rim, swatting two shots. All in all, Frazier has an incredibly high ceiling, and I expect more college coaches to be reaching out soon.

Tyran Frazier has got game. He attacks the cup with no fear, and can make lay-ups through contact. He can also bounce up in the blink of an eye and dunk on someone. In addition to his driving skills, Frazier plays with good pace and he can set up teammates for open looks. At the moment, he holds one Division I offer from Wichita St. and I believe more teams will jump on his bandwagon soon.

I was very excited to see what the talented 6’10 2027 forward could do against the twin towers of John Burroughs. I was very impressed as he scored 20 points and held his own. He played with toughness and a lot of heart. He has the skill set of a finesse player, but he was getting tough buckets in the post. Even when he got his shot blocked, he kept on coming. He also got out and ran the court and scored on some impressive rim runs. The young man has a very big upside.

The 6’10” forward is one of the top prospects in the Class of 2027 with his combination of size and skill level. He is a versatile young big who displayed his ability to knock down jump shots while also scoring in the paint. He is also very fluid in his movements and he runs the court very very well.
