Trevor had a very good sophomore campaign and backed that up in his junior year as he made gains on both sides of the ball. Ochs looked very confident with the ball in his hands this year as he was decisive, aggressive, and showed the ability to get it done consistently. Ochs put up 13.4 points a game and had 5.5 rebounds and 3 assists to go along with it. The ability to find his own but also take what the defense is giving him separated him for me. He was able to find open teammates, keep the ball popping, and defenses guessing. He also got to his spots and showed confidence as a scorer. We’re curious to see more of him, but do feel that his play warranted a rise in the rankings.

defines what it means to balance prolific scoring with elusive playmaking, and the stats backed this up in his contest against Legend. Putting up a monstrous 8 assists and 8 points in Fairview’s clutch win, Ochs has established himself as a monumental leader that his teammates can count on for production. Not to mention bringing down 5 defensive rebounds, proving he will crash the glass with determination. At 6’1, Ochs can shoot over defenders with ease while staying relentless on both ends of the ball. Expect a similar narrative for Ochs against Chaparral.
Ochs has emerged as a steady, all around presence for Fairview, and his numbers reflect real impact. Averaging 15.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 4.2 assists, he influences the game in multiple ways beyond scoring. His activity level and hustle consistently create extra possessions, while his off ball movement makes him difficult to guard. As a reliable spot up shooter who can also put the ball on the floor and attack defenders at the rim, Ochs forces defenses to make tough choices. His versatility, energy and two way contributions make his stock trend upward as the season progresses
Ochs works hard to pressure the defense while off-ball, always moving around to take advantage of open space. His constant motor paired with the quick awareness to read the floor has allowed the sophomore guard to be a steady contributor early on with Fairview. An especially consistent guard within this class, Ochs has produced 10 or more points in all but one of his games, his consistency reading the floor makes him such a high floor complementary guard. He has taken on a large floor spacing role, far and away the leader in three point attempts to start the season.
Ochs has been a dependable off-ball weapon for Fairview, leaping up to second in their scoring per game. A capable shooter off the catch, he brings immediate gravity from distance, as a higher volume shooter for this group at 48 attempts from distance. Still functional off the dribble, the guard has found success while attacking the rim off the rip, quick at reading the defense for attempts in and around the paint.
