Eaton had a successful season with what they were able to accomplish. They had the best record in their conference, had a playoff push and turned some heads, and a big reason for that was their 6'3 do-it-all forward. Haythorn averaged 16.7 points and 3.4 rebounds a game. He excels with the ball in his hands; he is constantly moving to get free, and when he gets the ball, teams are forced to send the double team. Hawthorn was in a groove for the entire year and had stretches where he looked unstoppable. He shoots the 3-ball well, showed himself to be a creative finisher, and he will come back into the season as one of the favorites to win conference player of the year. Big season for him, and we want to see more from him.

Mayle was a bright spot for Northglenn this season as he was the team's leading scorer and was aggressive throughout the season. He remained on the attack as a downhill scorer; he attacked mismatches and also created his own shot off the dribble. Mayle's ability to consistently hit the 3-ball opened up the rest of his offense and gave his team scoring opportunities. He put up 13.4 points a game and showed that he could score with the best of them. He's a player I want to see more of a shis game continues to evolve.

Edwards is a player whom I have seen play a few times, and I want to see more of. The player we saw at the end of the season gave Denver East a chance. He was aggressive, he finished well at the basket, and he was a paint beast who kept plays alive. Edwards sets screens and rolls, had great hand-eye coordination, and would catch it and go up, and was not afraid to use his body. We were present for two of his biggest games of the season. A battle against Rangeview and Regis Groff, and he was the difference-maker in those games, as his size was too much; he got inside and used his size and was a force on the block. Consistency will be the next step in his development, as when he's on, he's on. But he needs to keep it on. We want to see more from him but he also rose in the rankings.

Trevor had a very good sophomore campaign and backed that up in his junior year as he made gains on both sides of the ball. Ochs looked very confident with the ball in his hands this year as he was decisive, aggressive, and showed the ability to get it done consistently. Ochs put up 13.4 points a game and had 5.5 rebounds and 3 assists to go along with it. The ability to find his own but also take what the defense is giving him separated him for me. He was able to find open teammates, keep the ball popping, and defenses guessing. He also got to his spots and showed confidence as a scorer. We're curious to see more of him, but do feel that his play warranted a rise in the rankings.

Zyere had himself a pretty solid season as he's a go-to scoring option that is not afraid to get shots up when he's on the floor. He can create off the dribble, he moves without the ball, and is a microwave scorer who can get going in a hurry. He started to see the ball go in from deep, and that opened up his game a bit more, and now he just has to consistently put it together. Green put up 12.3 points a game and had a breakout performance against Village, where he went off for 27 points. That kind of aggressiveness and being locked in will get him on more radars. He has good size, an understanding of where to be, and now it is about expanding his game and pushing the limits. He's a high upside player we want to see more of.
