Mayle had another great showing and continues to quickly grab our attention because scoring comes naturally to him. The Northglenn standout displayed an excellent feel for finding open spots on the floor and was always prepared to catch and shoot. His confidence as a scorer is evident, and his range forced defenders to extend well beyond the three point line, opening up the floor for his teammates. Whether in transition or the half court, he consistently made the right reads and capitalized on scoring opportunities. When he gets into rhythm, he has the ability to change the momentum of a game in a hurry
Mayle had Northglenn competing in games and showed that he could have some big games that led to victories as well. In his junior year, he put up 13.4 points a game, improved as a 3-point shooter who let that open up his game a bit, and also showcased some efficiency despite seeing so many different looks by teams. Mayle is a 3-level scorer with upside, he plays above his size, and he can create off the dribble. The next step is turning that into easier scoring opportunities as I truly feel that once the game slows down for him, he’s going to be able to have even bigger scoring numbers. He’s one of the 5A’s best scorers, and I expect that to be the same in his Senior season. Just needs to come with some wins.
Mayle was a bright spot for Northglenn this season as he was the team’s leading scorer and was aggressive throughout the season. He remained on the attack as a downhill scorer; he attacked mismatches and also created his own shot off the dribble. Mayle’s ability to consistently hit the 3-ball opened up the rest of his offense and gave his team scoring opportunities. He put up 13.4 points a game and showed that he could score with the best of them. He’s a player I want to see more of a shis game continues to evolve.
Maybe has been Northglenn’s top prospect on the season. He turned heads as a sophomore, but his work as a junior has really been the difference to the team’s success. He’s consistent and balanced. He’s shooting the 3-ball at a high clip and converting, he’s dominating his matchup, and can score with the best of them. Mayle is putting up 15.9 points a game. He’s a score-first combo guard that hunts his shot, and the team has followed his lead. He makes a jump in the rankings after spending time on the watch list and looks to rise with his play.
Mayle is at his best operating off a swing or skip pass, comfortable attacking downhill off the rip while the defense is recovering. Quick to read the feet of his defender, he has a smooth handle to take advantage of driving lanes, either for paint finishes or timely kickout passes. Mayle is putting up 9.6 points per game on the season.
