The 2029 rankings are loaded with talent, but these names are just getting started. After freshman seasons spent learning and an impressive start with early summer performances, they've earned their spots but now comes the opportunity to show they belong among the state's best. Big opportunities, tougher competition and breakout potential make this group one to watch closely all summer long.

Walker continues to intrigue with the combination of length, size and activity he brings every time he steps on the floor. He impacts games without needing plays called for him, crashing the glass hard, extending possessions and finishing through traffic around the rim. His ability to use his frame and athleticism makes him a tough matchup inside, especially when he plays with energy and physicality. Defensively his length allows him to contest shots and alter possessions around the basket. Moving forward consistency will be the biggest key for Walker. As his offensive game expands and he becomes more confident creating opportunities outside of finishes around the rim, his upside continues to rise. The tools are there for him to become a major impact player

Kershaw brings nonstop energy and athleticism every time he hits the floor. He thrives in transition where his speed and ability to run the floor hard immediately puts pressure on defenses. Whether he's filling lanes for easy finishes or creating opportunities before the defense gets set, he plays at a pace that changes momentum quickly. In the half court Kershaw does a great job coming off screens, finding openings and using his athleticism to attack gaps and make plays around the basket. His motor stands out just as much as his physical tools, competing hard on both ends and staying active throughout possessions. Moving forward, continued growth in his overall offensive skill set and consistency as a scorer could make him one of the bigger risers in the class

Jaramillo is a player that continues to flash intriguing upside with the ball in his hands. He does a great job coming to the ball and making himself available, showing confidence and comfort as a playmaker when possessions start to break down. His ball skills allow him to navigate traffic, create space and keep defenders off balance, especially when attacking downhill. Once he sees an opening, he drives hard to the hole and finishes with toughness and control around bigger defenders. There's a natural feel to the way he operates offensively that keeps defenses reacting. Moving forward adding more consistency to his perimeter shot and continuing to develop physically could elevate his game even more, because the flashes and playmaking ability are clearly there

Barber plays with his head up and a confident approach that makes him dangerous anytime the ball touches his hands. He processes the floor well, keeps the offense moving and consistently looks ready to make the right read. What stands out most is his quick shot release and deep range, allowing him to get clean looks off before defenders can recover. He doesn't need much space to make defenses pay, and his shooting ability stretches the floor and opens driving lanes for teammates. Barber's confidence as a scorer continues to grow, and he looks comfortable shooting in big moments. Moving forward continuing to add strength and expanding his ability to create off the dribble could make him an even tougher matchup offensively

Leasure impacts the game in ways that winning teams need. He's constantly making plays with his effort, instincts and toughness on both ends of the floor. Offensively he attacks with purpose, putting pressure on defenders and forcing teams to react when he gets downhill. He also brings a relentless approach on the glass, crashing hard and creating extra possessions through hustle and physicality. Defensively Leasure stands out with tough, competitive defense, staying active and making opponents work for everything. His motor rarely slows down, and that energy consistently shows up in key moments. Moving forward continuing to polish his offensive skill set and becoming more consistent as a perimeter scorer could take his overall impact to another level because the toughness and effort already separate him
