Place is a 5’10” lead guard out of South Bend St. Joseph High School that played the role of floor general well for Team 8 at The Expo. He played with a high IQ, tight ball handling ability, and showed he could make shape passes. Place routinely sliced up the defense and was not afraid to get in the paint and either try to score or dish it off to his big man. There is a lot of talent at SBSJ right now, but Place could factor into the backcourt equation at some point.
