We watched Williams play with Team Soil over the spring and summer on the Prep Hoops Circuit and then the 6’7″ big man moved to South Bend St. Joseph for his junior season. He should play an important depth role in the front court for the defending Class 3A State Champions as they move up to Class 4A.

Williams will be in the gym with Soil 17u. He’s a true post player that can carve out a role at the next level. There’s too much talent plus upside for a coach not to take interest. Williams can dominate the glass and around the rim and will be a key player for his Soil squad.

Williams is a player that coaches will want to have on their radar. You can’t teach size and strength, and he has both of those. Williams is comfortable as a post presence and is willing to do his work on the block and under the rim. I’ve come away impressed with his ability to defend the paint. Williams uses his strength to gain defensive position and makes post entry passes very difficult.
