Trimboli, a guard out of the King School in Connecticut, checks in at #12 among the combo guards and #57 overall. The 5’11” guard is an elite floor spacer in catch and shoot situations, utilizing a quick release to get his shot off and always being shot ready on the catch. He does a great job of moving without the basketball, uses screens to get open, and has shown the ability to attack closeouts to get into the paint as a scorer. He’s a willing ball mover, takes good care of the basketball in the half-court, and has the ability to break down a defense off the bounce. His effort and intensity level stand out on the defensive end of the floor, where he does a great job of being in the right spots in rotation.

Trimboli played a role on last year’s King School squad, but my guess would be that he’s one of their leading scorers this season and really breaks out. The 6-foot guard showed flashes of athleticism last season, but he’s going to be a lot more explosive this year and will probably show improved strength and hang time at the rim. The shooting, which was quite effective for him as a freshman, will likely still be a cornerstone of his offensive game and will allow him to be lethal from all three levels this season. Trimboli will lead King School with his brother, AJ.

Trimboli, a guard out of the King School in Connecticut, checks in at #54 overall and #10 among the shooting guards. Trimboli is a high scoring guard that burst onto the scene in his first year in the NEPSAC last winter. Now pushing 6’1″, he has good size for the guard spot and is capable of playing on or off the ball in the half-court. He has some wiggle off the bounce, plays with a quick first step as a driver, and does a nice job of mixing up his finishes at the rim and in the mid-range. On the other end of the floor, he can guard either back-court spot, makes the hustle plays the don’t show up in the box score, and has the ability to keep opponents out of the paint.
