Keenan is never going to get the credit he deserves because he’s a 6-foot guard who operates as a table-setter for the big-time athletes he plays alongside at St. Thomas More. But the senior is a phenomenal floor general who makes kick-ahead passes like he breathes and is ultra-quick and smart with the ball in his hands. He can get into the crevices of the defense and consistently makes nice spray-out passes, but he can also finish with both hands at the rim and can make shots from three if you don’t defend his scoring. I’m not sure what Keenan’s recruitment looks like, but he’s starting and playing lots of minutes for an incredibly high level prep school team, so that means a lot.

Keenan did a nice job of running the show for his STM squad. He touches the paint with ease and has great awareness of when to find teammates for scoring chances. He is very battle tested which has made his transition to the prep ranks rather smooth coming from playing in the CHSAA. His close proximity to the ground allows him to gather steals.

As anyone familiar with him over the years would expect, Keenan went down fighting in what would end up as the final game of his high school career. Known as more of a setup man in the past, he showed an ability to put the team on his back as a scorer, both navigating to spots downhill and stretching defenses from long range. An established midrange artist, Keenan showed extended range on his pullup that’ll be key to opening up his dribble-drive game at the D1 level. He’s limited physically, but has shown the ability to make up for it with skill, savvy, and grit as a consistent winner across settings.

Keenan is a steady guard with a quick first step when he is on the attack. He uses his small stature to get around defenders effortlessly. He has a good touch around the hoop and keeps it simple. He is really effective filling the lane in transition. Keenan has a great vision of the floor and finds his teammates frequently. On the defensive end Keenan is pesky and finds ways to come up with steals. He has a really balanced game.
