was extremely effective not only in his ability to finish emphatically on the rim, out of the dunker spot but also on the defensive end. Defensively, Soyoye did a good job of using his size and length to rebound the basketball and be an effective rim protector.

Typically known as more of a shot-blocking and rebounding presence, Soyoye established himself early and often as a force to be reckoned with around the basket offensively. He established deep post position and showed improved command over his footwork while creating for himself in 1-on-1 scenarios. He even stepped out for a smooth top-of-the-key 3 that hit all net. Soyoye wasn’t as dominant as we’ve seen him be on the other end but still did his job as a rim protector while making things difficult for Hill to score inside. With his best basketball clearly still ahead of him, expect the Nigerian post-grad (by way of Georgia) to remain a hot name among high-major coaches into the spring.

Soyoye also showed an ability to knock down free throws.

is a two way big man that impacts the game on both ends of the floor. Soyoye makes his presence known on the interior as a guy that can finish around the rim as well as protect the paint on the defensive end. Combine those abilities with a high motor, it’s not hard to see Soyoye’s impact felt on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball.
With a strong post grad year at Blair that shows a mix of his two way ability at 6’10’, look for some more schools to get involved in his recruitment throughout the course of the season.

Soyoye is a mountain of a human his shear size eats up a lot of space. He is really effective from the dunker spots and shows some flashes with his post moves. He has a good command of his shot selection and knows what he excels at. Soyoye does a good job effecting shots and is engaged in the game. He also is a brick wall screener who any defender will have problems getting through.

is their anchor inside. Soyoye was the best rim-protector we saw this year, able to cover so much ground around the basket with his 6’10 frame and eye-popping wingspan. Whether it’s blocking or altering shots, Soyoye makes it incredibly tough for teams to score inside. Missouri State offered him this summer but rumor has it Soyoye will be going post-grad and reclassing to 2025.

has been the centerpiece for a Chapel Hill team that’s playing like a contender. Soyoye is one of the best rim protectors in Georgia, 6’10 and extremely lengthy. His impact can be felt on both ends and he’s usually good for a double-double each time he takes the floor. The low post game has been steadily making strides and Soyoye makes it easy for his guards to get it to him. He’s up to #28 in our latest rankings and could be even higher when it’s all said and done.

. He does a great job of walling up without fouling which can often be an issue for guys of his style. Soyoye also had some monsterous flushes inside. He finished the game with 15 points, 13 rebounds, and 4 blocks. It sounds like Soyoye will be looking for post-grad opportunities as he plans to reclass to 2025.
