has firmly established himself as one of the biggest stock risers in the state in recent months, continuing a steady upward trajectory in his development. The skilled left handed tweener combines impressive mobility for his size with a relentless motor, both of which reflect the clear progress he’s made in his overall game. Offensively, he’s become increasingly efficient around the rim, providing consistent production from the dunker spot and on the block. He’s also shown noticeable growth in his low post game, displaying improved patience, solid footwork, and a reliable array of interior moves. Defensively, Cowell has been highly active and impactful, regularly high pointing rebounds and controlling the glass. He’s also taken strides as a rim protector while showing the versatility to switch onto quicker guards and wings on the perimeter, further enhancing his value on that end of the floor.
In recent weeks, Cowell received an offer from Wagner and will be looking to rack in a few more over the coming weeks as we approach the May live period.

continued on that steady ascension. The skilled left handed tweener pairs impressive mobility for his size with a relentless motor, reflective of the clear strides in his development— finishing efficiently around the rim, producing from the dunker spot and on the block, especially showing increased patience in the low post pairing strong footwork and a collection of low post moves on the interior. Cowell was also extremely active on the defensive end of the floor, consistently high pointing rebounds on the glass while anchoring the defense as a rim protector who can also switch onto quicker guards and wings on the perimeter.

Cowell is a skilled southpaw big man who is methodical. Love how he is able to come down with passes like a tight end. He is a threat from the dunker spots and is very smooth was going up to finish. Cowell has good footwork around the bucket and uses his array of post moves inside. He draws fouls and gets to the foul line. Cowell keeps progressing with time. I would like to see him continue to improve on getting stronger and work on finishing consistently around crowds. He found ways to protect the rim by altering shots.

has over the last several months, ultimately catapulting himself into the national rankings. Coming off a breakout junior season that saw him boast impressive averages of 18.2 PPG and 9.68 RPG and leverage his size and length to impact the game on both ends of the floor, the skilled left handed tweener with glaring mobility for his size and tremendous motor has taken significant strides in his on court development— finishing effectively around the rim and providing scoring from the dunker spot and on the low block in traffic, put the ball on the floor and attack driving angles off the bounce, snatching rebounds out the air with his high motor on the boards, excelling as a rim protector defensively, switching out on to quicker guards and wings out on the perimeter. Cowell’s development will be intriguing to track going forward as he continues to put it all together and see his recruitment pick up a little more steam in the coming months.

One of the bigger revelations of the high school season across the state, Cowell was a bit quiet on Wednesday night while battling early foul trouble but still found his way to a double-double while showcasing an abundance of intriguing tools for the next level. Despite the slow start, the southpaw forward grinded his way to 11 points and nearly 15 boards, controlling the paint with his size, athleticism, and burgeoning strength. Cowell was effective establishing position inside and finishing inside through congestion while showing a great motor and strong hands on the glass to haul in rebounds at the high point. He also flashed some intrigue as a ballhandler while protecting the rim defensively and showing some comfort defending away from the basket in space. Young for his grade with the possibility to move back to the 2028 class, Cowell shows a substantial upside even when not playing at his absolute best.

Dylan has improved tremendously since his sophomore season and been having a monster season so far. He plays above the rim and is a dominant force in the paint. Dylan has a smooth jump shot, runs the floor well in transition and is a great rim protector ! Cowell is just scratching the surface, averaging 21pts & 11rbs in his first 4 games of the season , leading Pingry to a 4-0 record. Dylan currently has offers from Bucknell , Hampton & Florida A&M. He’s also receiving interest from Georgetown , Manhattan , U Penn, American , Marist, Miami & NC State. More Division 1 offers will be on the table as the season progresses

is an intriguing forward who competes well for position and consistently contributes on the glass at both ends of the floor. Cowell finishes effectively around the rim and provides scoring from the dunker spot, all while also flashing the potential to space the floor and kick down outside shots. As he continues to streamline his game and avoid forcing plays, his overall impact should only increase and much of that development should be on full display as he embarks on the start of his junior season.

Cowell was in good spots to come down with rebounds frequently on both ends of the floor. He showed that he can score around the bucket and from the dunker spots. He even showed flashes as a floor spacer. Cowell needs to work on not rushing things into existence and keeping it simple, if he does that great things will happen. He is a prospect who should be on D1 radars.
