Parmentier is a prospect that I’ve been high on for a while now. He’s always been a top notch shooter and still shows that in this film clip. He buries 3’s off the catch, unfazed by the closeout. But Parmentier really shows his improved athleticism and ability to attack the rim. He finishes at the rim multiple times using a hesitation and a speed burst to put a defender on his hip.

Parmentier has the chance to be an elite shooter in the class of 2028. He has in the gym type of range and has to always be accounted for by the defense. Trust me, I’ve in person seen him and his jumper take over games. Parmentier can shoot off the catch as well as pull up if the defense doesn’t pick him up early.

Parmentier had me hooked immediately. He has an awesome court demeanor and attitude that’s refreshing. Parmentier’s approach will get him far in the game of basketball, and outside it as well. Plus, who wouldn’t be thankful for watching that jumper splash through the net?

I’ve written about Parmentier a lot, I know. But the kid really impressed me this summer. Even better was the fact that he played up throughout grassroots season. Parmentier has a shot at being one of the better pure shooters in his class. He can be an absolute game changer when he grooves his jumper.

Parmentier could be a 2027 that goes off at the David Barns Showcase. I saw him do it during grassroots season and I know he can again. Parmentier is a shooter through and through. He has volleyball line type of range and can get hot with it.

Parmentier put his game on display at the Michigan State Tournament. The young man can flat out fill it up. His jumper is and was simply dangerous. He has see the rim range and doesn’t need much time or space to get it up. He’s a quality competitor that will take and make the big shot. The type of player who’s on court demeanor is very well respected by opposing coaches.
