+40 (#219 to #179)

Schuller, a guard out of the Dexter Southfield School in Massachusetts, rose 40 spots in this update and now sits at #179 overall. Schuller rises on the strength of his improved consistency on the offensive end of the floor and commitment to the defensive end. He does a nice job of knocking down threes in catch and shoot situations, has the ability to handle the ball as a secondary playmaker, and is capable of scoring through contact at the rim. Defensively, he does a nice job of guarding at the point of attack and is one of the first to the floor for 50/50 balls.

Schuller is a skilled and smart point guard who will run the show for Dexter this season. He does a great job puncturing the paint and spraying out to shooters, and he’s always looking to get his teammates involved in transition with the kick ahead pass. He also strokes it from three and has excellent range. The 5-foot-11 senior won’t wow you with crazy quickness, but he’s under control and extremely patient at all times and consistently makes the right decision. High D3 schools might not be in on him because of size, but he can probably play at that level.

Schuller is a 5-foot-11 guard who can play both on and off the ball. He’s obviously unassuming as a result of his size, but he can stroke it from three and throws some of the best full-court passes I’ve seen. He threw once bounce pass through a couple people that looked like Allen Iverson’s from years ago (if you know, you know). He’s a high IQ point guard who might play more off the ball this year because of how many playmakers Dexter Southfield has — but that’s okay, because he understands how to fit around others and will be an awesome piece for them. I would imagine he’ll find a D3 fit when the time comes, potentially a high level one depending on his grades and how he plays this season.
