Robinson is a high-IQ player who can make plays on both ends of the floor. Against Annie Wright, it was some of his defensive prowess that stood out, especially in moments it seemed he was out-leveraged. He pulled the chair out on offensive players twice, once forcing a travel on an aggressive guard looking to make contact, and once while getting posted up by one of the Gator’s bigs that led to a steal. He’s a tactful player who can adapt to various circumstances throughout games.

The amount of talent on this Rainer Beach team is just insane to see. They could wind up as one of the best teams to ever play here in the state of WA but we will see how the season plays out. Nyale will be the main ball handler for this team but can also play the two guard and be ready to sink threes if his teammates are creating for themselves. He plays energetic defense, providing huge moments and easy buckets in transition.

Nyale has been on a tear on the AAU season, killing it at a national level for the Renegades. Robinson shoots the ball at an elite level, having a quick release and the confidence to let it fly right when he sees an open shot. He can take over any game and get buckets for his team when they need one. Robinson plays great defense too on the other side of the court, being a top 2 way player.

Last weekend in Centralia was just another instance of Robinson showing up behind the arc to make a big impact. He comes through with the ability to start runs, hit teams in their mouths from distance, and string together multiple big shots to swing momentum. He did just that against Select Jansen, coming in off the bench to immediately torch the opposition with a couple catch and shoot treys, then mixed in a splash 3 off the dribble. He’s a dynamic shooter to watch who can get going in a hurry.
