After sitting out the first portion of the year, he’s come on strong and really started to find his groove for the Vikings. Has displayed solid footwork inside, the ability to catch all kinds of entries and dump-offs, and does a great job attacking the ball off the rim. Has the skill and strength to play out of the low post and mid post, as well as facing up and getting to the hoop. The Beach big man has also been racking up quite a few football scholarship offers as of late, highlighting his unique blend of size and athleticism.

He was the Rebels’ de facto paint presence all weekend and did a great job moving around the paint, finding space on rolls, and working the glass on both ends of the floor. His hard work culminated in an 18-point 10-rebound game against the Georgia Stars, making 9-of-13 FGs. While a lot of his buckets came of o-boards and second chance points, Reyna also showed some quick moves to get to the middle from the blocks, the ability to finish with either hand, and even stepped out to knock in a 3. He averaged 13 PPG over the weekend.

Already a physically mature player, Reyna can handle the bumps and contact around the paint and be an immediate impact player. He’s calm in crowds, shows great touch whether shooting over defenders or leaning to one side, and has the patience to make the right plays and trust the process offensively. Reyna is also the type of player with a nose for making plays off the ball and just fits in the flow out on the court.

Reyna is a big, yet fluid forward who shows advanced feel for the game around the paint. Already an exceptional athlete, he’s got big, soft hands that make him a tough rebounder, versatile defender, and also a guy who can hit a variety of shots from mid-range and in. He’s got the building blocks to take his game more to the perimeter later on.
