Chea was one of the quicker, more pacy players at the event. Every time he touched the ball he was looking to get going, put his defender on their heels, and make a play. Everything started downhill for him and he was able to get some significant separation with his initial moves and ability to stop and start. Was very smooth into his jumper off the bounce as well.

Chea is a kid who already plays with confidence and poise beyond his years. He suits up for Elite Futures Prep and plays against some high-level prep prospects, but he’s a kid who can run the point with some elite quickness and already shows the craft to maintain separation from defenders and attack space to get the offense in motion. He shows some promising scoring skills too, he can hit from three and has a finishing package around the rim that should continue to get better. He’s also a kid who can defend at a high level, but it’s his quickness and confidence that really stand out for the young guard.

One of the more recognizable names on this initial watch list, Chea is already a nationally recognized prospect and suits up with a pretty talented Elite Futures Prep team. He displays plus quickness and athleticism and pairs that with some good 3-point shooting and shiftiness with the ball. He can freeze defenders with the dribble and shows some high potential in the 2028 class.
