For Westerville North to be good, they’ll need their experienced backcourt to show up every game. For Westerville North to be great, they’ll need more from their frontcourt this season. Fedak is a prospect who keeps getting better each time I watch him play and seems poised for a breakout senior season. His first move of the afternoon was a fake DHO that he drove and scored in the paint. Just a couple possessions later Fedak hit a trail 3-pointer. Fedak was also physical in the paint, putting his height advantage to work with some putback layups and offensive rebounds that helped reset the offense. Based on how far Fedak has came from his Junior season to today, he should continue to gain confidence if he stays in the gym during the fall to continue to improve his body and expand his skillset. The rebounding of Fedak might be his most important skill for Westerville North this winter.

Fedak is one of the more improved players I’ve seen this spring with a lot more confidence with the ball in his hands. Showing growth in his ability to attack a closeout, finish at the rim and run in the open court. Fedak has shown these flashes on the Prep Hoops Circuit and getting valuable reps to prepare for the high school season with Westerville North where he’s going to provide key size for a guard-oriented team.

Fedak comes from a stacked Westerville north program and has waited his turn to make a big varsity impact. Heading into his senior season, Fedak is playing his best basketball. A big who can finish around the rim, Fedak was attacking rebounds off the glass before smaller guards could get to the ball. I also liked how Fedak ran the court, giving himself some easy layup opportunities with his hustle. In a tight win on Saturday, Fedak had a huge block late to help seal the win. Still has a ways to go but Fedak is making strides and could be turning the corner at the right time for a Westerville north program that graduated some important seniors in the front court.

The second Westerville North and 2025 standout on this list, Fedak had some interesting movement skills for a prospect his size and age. Fedak showed the ability to put it on the floor and had a jumper that looks projectable to the next level. I’ll be interested to see how many minutes Fedak gets as a sophomore on varsity because he has some pretty interesting long-term upside.
