transferring to Omaha Central, it is now Strong’s team to lead. Strong has a long frame that he uses to his advantage on the offensive and defensive end. He is a three-level scorer who is a threat from deep, which allows him to blow by defenders where he can finish multiple ways at the rim. Strong is an aggressive defender who can get wide and poke balls lose with his long arms. Strong will emerge as a hot prospect heading into the postseason.

, a lengthy guard, averaged 11.4 points per game last season for the Vikings and will now be the key piece in their offense this season. He showcased his scoring ability by erupting for 22 points in a game against Bellevue East and displayed his shooting skills by hitting 34% of his three-point attempts last season.
Strong is not only a capable scorer but also a dominant defender. He recorded an impressive nine steals in a game and led all Class A guards in steals. He also led the team in blocks. Strong’s defensive presence and leadership skills make him a valuable asset to the team. As he takes on a bigger role this season, expect Strong to lead the Vikings in their quest to make a deep run.

Strong is a surprisingly athletic guard who is constantly looking to get a bucket. His ability to finish in traffic and get to the freethrow line is a key part of his game but is volume shooter from three who can get going in a hurry. One thing that really stands out on the defensive end is how well he communicates with his teammates and seemingly is always in the right place at the right time getting steals and finishing in transition. I believe that Strong will be a valuable option at any level at either guard spot. He currently holds an offer from Midland University which more than likely wont be his only offer for very long.

also had a spectacular summer with Omaha Elite. Every time I saw Strong play this Spring/Summer, he looked better and better. If he continues to improve at the rate he is currently, look for him to crack the top 10 the next time the rankings drop. Strong’s recruitment is questionably quite, and is deserving of a lot more attention. While his talent is elite, he is also a fierce competitor who will not back down from anyone.

had a great Saturday for Omaha Elite. He scored on all three levels, and had some huge buckets for his squad. Strong had the last five points for Omaha Elite in the Elite 8 game, including a nasty step back in the corner to tie the game up. He is a very talented shot creator, and has the ability to make tough shots. Strong also is a great and passionate defender. He made several plays on that end of the floor to help give his team energy when it was needed. Strong should see a boost in his recruitment after how he played on the biggest stage.

has been in the gym working on his game. When the next rankings come out for Prep Hoops, Strong’s name will take a huge leap up. The guard prospect out of Omaha North has had a stellar campaign thus far with Omaha Elite. He is another great two-way guard out of Omaha who plays under control and with great pace on offense. His length and athleticism allow him to finish over smaller guards and cause chaos on the defensive end of the floor. Strong has a great fame and loads of potential. He is most definitely a prospect to track this summer, and a must watch for scholarship level coaches.
