Thomas has been a 4-year starter on Varsity and has developed tremendously over his high school career. Thomas had a terrific summer, earning a couple of junior college offers along the way. A three-level scorer, Thomas will be a focal point for the Eagles this year in both scoring and his leadership. We can discuss Thomas’s physical skillset on the court as being one of the best; however, it may be his mental skillset that sets him apart with his unwavering confidence and willingness to play however the team needs him to, in order to have a chance to win. Look for Thomas to make his case as one of the best in state this year.

Thomas is a play making guard with a scorers mentality and a high basketball IQ. He knows how to play with pace and use his quick first step to get by defenders and finish at a high percentage. His understanding of how to attract defenders and make passes for easy buckets is exceptional. Thomas is a solid three point threat but seems to still be improving his shooting percentage each game I’ve seen him play. As much as he does on the offensive end he is also an intense on ball defender constantly making it difficult for opposing guards to put the ball on the floor. He recently received and an offer from McCook Community College and also holds offers from McPherson College, Redlands Community College, & Central Community College and looks to add to that list this upcoming season.

may have had the best summer out of any 2024 prospect in the state of Nebraska. He led his Omaha Elite squad to a Final 4 berth on the New Balance Circuit, and had several 20+ point game performances. Thomas is the type of athlete to embrace the biggest stage and perform the best when it matters most. Currently, Thomas holds a couple of Junior College offers, but is worthy of a lot more. If he has the senior season I expect him to have, a lot more should come his way.

does not stop: he’s all gas for 40 minutes. He was one of the toughest competitors I saw all day, and brought a ton of energy to his team. After a huge scoring weekend in Houston last time out, he received a lot of attention from both defenses he faced. Nevertheless, he was able to find his way in the paint for some tough buckets, and also connected on pull up and three point jump shots. What was most impressive about Thomas’ day was the effort and intensity he brought on the defensive end. He has a winners mentality, and will not back down from anyone on the defensive end. The buzz is seriously growing for the Guard out of Omaha.

, the newest addition to the Omaha Central roster, has had an outstanding campaign so far with Omaha Elite so far this Spring. At 6′, Thomas is one of the quickest guards you will find in his class. His speed and change of direction allows him to blow by defenders and get to the rim at ease. Once Thomas gets going downhill, he is a master at getting to his spots and finishing around the rim and through contact. In addition, he also has a very nice 15-foot mid range pull-up in his arsenal, and can light it up from deep. It will be intriguing to watch how his recruitment pans out this summer. He is an exciting prospect to keep an eye on for high school hoop fans in the Omaha area.
