Expert Analysis
Bobby Lopez | Prep Hoops Scout
Roselle is gearing up for a monster season at Timnath, and his skill set makes him one of the team’s most important pieces. He brings a strong, physical presence inside, using his footwork and size to carve out space and control the boards. His post game is steady and reliable and he knows how to seal, finish and punish mismatches. What makes him especially dangerous is that you can’t fall asleep on him outside the paint. If defenders give him too much space, he’ll confidently step out and knock down shots from deep. On the defensive end he’s locked in, using positioning and toughness to make life difficult for anyone who challenges him. Expect Roselle to be a major impact player this year

takes his game above the rim, slashing to the cup and scoring with ease. The 6’7 forward prioritizes ball security and constantly makes good decisions with the rock. When Roselle is in triple threat, he can rip through and burst to the basket without being nervous to absorb contact. Roselle will thrive at Timnath this winter.

Roselle has the kind of size you can’t teach, paired with the versatility that makes him a matchup problem. At 6’7, he rebounds, defends multiple spots, and scores inside or out. He’s a small-school standout with high upside, and this showcase is his chance to get more on the map and prove he belongs among the best in his class. We want to see him there as a player we’ve been eager to see lace them up for his Senior year.

Roselle’s got the size and athleticism that makes it tough for defenders. He’s a beast down low, always cleaning up the boards with his solid boxing out. On offense – his dribble drive lets him either finish strong at the rim or pull up for the clean jumper. Defensively, his long arms and quick hands make him a constant disruption, forcing opponents into bad situations. He’s tough to back down and is always quick to close out, leading to blocks and deflections. But where he really shines is his off ball movement, he can easily find his way to the corner and can bury that open three

Timnath has been excellent within this league, going 3-1 along with quite a few dominant wins above 15 point margins. A notably physical forward, Roselle continues to improve his touch around the rim, particularly given that the game has continued to slow down for the forward. Although on low volume, his three point contributions from distance have taken strides in both confidence and efficiency since prior seasons at 39% currently.

Roselle brought the routine value on the glass, constantly in play for offensive rebounds. Hitting a few shots along the perimeter, the forward has continued to round out his offensive game. Roselle has made steady improvements in those areas, becoming a more willing driver one on one. As a premier rebounder up in the northern end of the state as a sophomore, Roselle is set for a big season up at Timnath.

Roselle has been a routine threat on the glass, always on the prowl for second chance opportunities. Few athletes in this class boast his motor and consistent activity, when paired with the strong frame at roughly 6’5, opponents have no choice but to box him out. A double double threat on multiple occasions from various PrepHoops events locally, Roselle is a name to follow over at Timnath. His continued growth along the perimeter will be essential to round out his offensive game, although the high motor allows him to play in various lineup combinations.
