We saw Stevie for NoCo Elite this Summer and while he was not a guy that you put out there and just go score a basket type of player his IQ was on full display and he just kept making plays. He’s a hard screen setter, he rolls off of that and kicks it to the open man or puts pressure on the rim. We saw him as an immovable force who kept plays alive with his activity and he played the right way. There wasn’t too much dribbling or forcing of shots but rather constant movement, he rotated the ball well, got it out for outlet plays and showed that he could be impactful. He’ll have to be that and more for Timnath, but he showed he could be a player that you could throw in the game and good things happen. He’s making a jump into the rankings with a wait and see approach on more.
