Loughlin is a 5’9” point guard that plays with good pace. He was so adept at converting scoop shots with either hand. High level layup maker with crafty moves getting in the paint. As the game went along he started to bang in pull up twos and threes with a nice looking shot.

Loughlin was a blast to watch, making play after play to keep his team competitive. He created with a slick hesitation, spin, or a quick first step, constantly putting pressure on the defense. Even when he didn’t finish, he impacted the game with sharp last-second passes and a willingness to share the ball. Defensively, he was a ballhawk — shuffling his feet to cut off drives, jumping passing lanes, and even sprinting the sideline to get in front of the ball-handler. His mix of creativity, hustle, and unselfishness made him stand out each time he hit the floor.

Loughlin immediately stood out on the defensive end. The quick guard was a relentless presence, constantly pressuring ball-handlers with his positioning and agility. Offensively, Loughlin showcased an effective shot fake that created opportunities for him to step into his shot. His speed also allows him to turn corners with acceleration.
