Two way player that we have caught a few times over the summer months and who continues to improve. Owens showed sound awareness on both ends of the floor consistently putting himself in position to make productive plays. Provided connective passes off the bounce and in transition with well timed reads. His toughness and competitiveness showed with fighting for a offensive board in heavy traffic to then finish a putback. Defensively Owens stayed active and alert helping create turnovers including a couple clean pick pockets.

Sharpshootingpoint guard who isn’t afraid to let it fly. Had so much confidence to step into a deep triple against Team 10. Knocking it home with ease. Added a reverse layup later on which shows his creativity.

Owens brings a hard nosed and toughness mentality to the floor. Watched late morning game on Sunday and he continued to be in attack mode throughout with volume activity. Gets into the teeth of the defense and makes correct reads. Plays off 2 feet to gather then drop off or score it himself. Initiated contact multiple times to get to the stripe. Liked his versatility and nature to compete with tenacity.
