We had the chance to see several of the Breakaway Basketball teams play in 16u action at the Romeoville Athletic Center over the course of the weekend. Debruycker, a long 6’2″ left-handed guard, caught our attention pretty quickly. He was skilled from the perimeter as a shooter, smooth as a playmaker when getting downhill, and very active on the defensive end of the floor. One to watch for Yorkville High School.
