Watched him compete in the early game on Saturday. Helped team to a 3-1 finish for the weekend. Lengthy 4 / 5 man that runs the floor well. Keeps up with the pace of play in transition. Took it coast to coast a couple times to really give his team an advantage early on. Good activity with his hands on defense. Able to pose a challenge when defending the ball low in the post.

Vandenbergh is a traditional-style big man who brings size and presence around the rim. He provided scoring with quick buckets from close range and showed a solid understanding of his role. Still developing consistency with post seals and could benefit from more nimble footwork, but those are reps away from improvement. Started to run the floor better late in the second half, flashing some upside as a reliable rim-runner.
