<p>Before the grassroots season kicks off in Illinois with the Chi-Town Tip Off we wanted to take a look back at film of prospects from all over the state from this past season. Some highly ranked and other new names. We broke them all down including here in <strong>2028 End of Season Film Review</strong>!</p>

<p><strong>Silas Dobilas (Lisle – 2028)</strong></p>

<p>This past season the sophomore from Lisle averaged 13.3 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.5 dimes a game including 31 percent from three. He is a 6'3” guard that plays with good pace and feel. Sound spot up shooter from beyond the arc with a clean release. Can shot fake and move in for a pull up. Cuts well off the ball. Creates space well.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='3515731' first='Elijah' last='Schweitzer'] (Rochelle – 2028)</strong></p>

<p>The 6'5” post averaged 8 points and 6 rebounds in a game in 16 minutes a night on the varsity level. Like how well he rebounds in his area. Good athlete with size and strength along with an intriguing skill set. Presence on the defensive end swatting shots. Also shows the ability to deck it some as a face up post. Crafty finisher down low that carves out space to get his shot off.</p>

<p><strong>Travis Spicer Jr (Moline – 2028)</strong></p>

<p>Rangy guard with some projection to his frame. Can handle it creating off the dribble along with being a solid spot up shooter with a quick release. Slick ball handler that has a nice basketball IQ. Opened eyes as a spot up threat that can attack a close out. </p>

<p><strong>Ramsey Owens (Manteno – 2028)</strong></p>

<p>The Manteno product goes 6'2” and the guard averaged 10 points and 3 boards a game while shooting 38 percent from three this past season. Attacks the baseline strong with drives. Crisp three point shot off the catch. Like the ability to create space for his jumper along with shots in the lane. Can get up and throw down a dunk in transition.</p>

<p><strong>Levi Youngblood (TF North – 2028)</strong></p>

<p>Youngblood is a 6'0” guard that as a sophomore averaged 14 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 dimes a game. Slick ball handler that has burst getting in the lane where he can score or set others up. Good athlete with long arms at the point guard spot.</p>

<p><strong>Braylon Griffitts (Bushnell Prairie City – 2028)</strong></p>

<p>This 5'10” sophomore guard averaged 8 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals this past season on the varsity level. Plus shooter from three that has some juice as well with the ball in his hands. His biggest asset is definitely his perimeter shot making though at this stge. Can attack a close out with a shot fake and spin move. </p>

<p><strong>Dylan Polito (Manteno – 2028)</strong></p>

<p>Polito averaged 8 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 steal a game this past year for Manteno. He has nice size at 6'4” which helped him make an impact on the varsity level. Clean looking shot in the mid-range and from three. Scores on cuts off the ball. Finishes through contact in the paint.</p>

<p><strong>Tousaint Makabu (Champaign Centennial – 2028)</strong></p>

<p>Strong and compact 6'0” guard that has major athleticism. It jumps off the film right from the jump with a sick dunk. Explosive attacking downhill as he is built like a running back with broad shoulders and a strong upper body. Gets after it mixing it up on the defensive side of the ball getting in passing lanes for steals which he takes the other way for points. Loves to play in transition and using his burst to get to the cup.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2892582' first='Bryce' last='Smith'] (Hoffman Estates – 2028)</strong></p>

<p>Smith is a 6'4” 2028 forward who brings bounce and explosiveness round the hoop. Finishes in the pick and roll. Slips in ball screens scoring around the hoop. Finishes well out of the dunker spot. Length plays on the defensive end. Rim runs in transition with his long strides.</p>

<p>Dozie is a guard coming off a strong sophomore season where he dropped 15 points and 4 rebounds a game. Point guard that has deep range on his three point shot pulling up on the regular. Can rip it taking it off the bounce blowing past defenders. Shoots well off movement. </p>

<p>Slick handling lead guard that gets to his spots pulling up off the bounce. Shoots well off movement. Gets in the paint off the bounce showcasing solid body control scoring in the lane. </p>

<p>The Forreston sophomore averaged 16 points, 3 dimes, and 5 rebounds a game this past season. Kid plays with some flair to his game. Crisp shot from beyond the arc and is an acrobatic finisher. Range stretches out to well beyond the college line. Quick and assertive moves with the ball in his hands and creative handles off the bounce.</p>

<p>The 6'2” two guard from Benet played on the JV level this past season. Solid size and length. Creative finisher with body control at the cup. Active hands getting in passing lanes.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2853371' first='Cooper' last='Hamilton'] (Pecatonica – 2028)</strong></p>

<p>Hamilton is a 6'0” guard in the 2028 class that has solid range on his shot and is slick through traffic. Good entry passes to his post players. Crafty finisher in traffic. Active hands and deflections on the defensive end.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2532017' first='Luke' last='Loughlin'] (Barrington – 2028)</strong></p>

<p>Point guard from Barrington has been on the radar for a while. Coming off a strong sophomore campaign. Crafty finisher in the lane, quality spot up shooter, cuts off the ball, and has a nose for making plays. Finishes well through and around contact. Solid passing feel.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2369882' first='Vinny' last='Corrado'] (St. Viator – 2028)</strong></p>

<p>The big man from St. Viator has great size, frame, length, and agility around the hoop. Works well as a screener and roller. Cuts off the ball to the hoop. Can post up using his touch to score. Finishes out of the dunker spot and crashes the glass. Efficient with his touches from 10 feet and in. Good hands catching passes in traffic.</p>
