About Landon

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Tall Lefty wing that can do a variety of different things at a high level. Really solid and efficient 3 level scorer that can shoot, finish, post up, etc... Loves to use right hand and finish/dribble with both. Also guards 1-5 and has held multiple future d1 and power 5 players below scoring averages. Very high IQ player that makes the right reads and is always in right spot at the right time.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Nice guy off the court, but as soon as I step on to it, I'm a menace. Super competitive and hates losing but embraces it to help me get better. Always looking to improve my game and find ways to become a better player and person. Also there for my teammates to lift them up and hold them accountable; stresses team success and improvement.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed the ability to be a good teammate and not a diva and do whatever the team/coaches need me to do in order for our team to succeed. I have also developed a better mindset and not get so down on myself when things aren't going well, and to move onto the next play

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yes, ever since school basketball started in 6th grade, I was always on the B team, and worked up to the A team in 8th, just to be a freshman bench player an JV as a sophomore. To get to where I am now, being a varsity starter and receiving college offers, I had to work my ass off. Constantly in the gym, weightroom, plyometrics, watching film. I've always had to work to get what I wanted.

What type of college are you looking for?

Any school that has a good culture with great coaching staff and players that makes me look forward to practice, games, school, etc...
