He wasn’t one of the splashiest overall performers at the camp, but we saw by far Hodge’s best game of the week on Thursday which provided a showcase into his IQ, athleticism, and versatility. A native of Belgium who’s been in Jersey since the start of high school, Hodge got loose for 20 points on Thursday morning on an efficient 9-for-13 from the floor, routinely finding his way to the cup for smooth finishes whether off the dribble, cutting to the rim, or streaking ahead in transition. He showed confidence in his jumper while knocking down half of his four attempts from deep, the key area of perceived weakness in his game up until this point. When he has the jumper falling, there aren’t many better wing guards nationally in the rising senior class.

Fresh off announcing he’ll be transferring to Montverde Academy for his senior season, Jayden Hodge delivered another strong weekend that saw him showcase so much of what makes him an intriguing prospect in the 2026 class. Over the course of the weekend, Hodge was effective at putting pressure on the rim— particularly out of DHO’s and different ball screens as well as different change of direction moves, finishing through contact and in traffic around the basket. Hodge has a smooth handle and played with good pace. Hodge played with an extremely high motor and displayed great activity on the defensive end of the floor. Hodge also picked up an offer from TCU over the weekend.

‘s pace and poise with the ball in his hands really stood out over the weekend. Hodge was super effective playing off DHO’s and curl screens— getting to the basket and finishing through contact while also showcasing his touch around the rim through an array of different floaters. In his downhill attacking approach, Hodge also excelled at playing off two feet and playing off pivots when in the paint. A better shooter than his session one numbers suggest, look for Hodge to shoot it at a more efficient clip from three point range going into session two.

A native of Belgium who asserted himself among the state’s very best this past winter, Hodge looked comfortable while feeling his way into things in his debut with a Shoreshots group looking to make major noise on the Under Armour circuit. Similar to Jackson (profiled above), he shines with his ability to toggle up and down the lineup on both ends of the floor depending on matchups and surrounding personnel. Hodge is an advanced a driver as you’ll find in the region, blending his size and physicality with a polished skill level and high-level processing ability on the move. While not the quickest, he routinely impacts on the defensive end with his understanding of angles and instinctive hands. If the growth he showed as a perimeter shooter over his debut weekend is any indication of things to come, Hodge could cement himself before long among the very best on the UAA.

Making his much-anticipated debut for the Shoreshots, Hodge was his typically versatile and productive self while getting the spring started with a 1-1 record on the day. The Swiss-army knife by way of Belgium got himself going with his trademark slashing game, showcasing his smooth skill level and ability to impose his will physically en route to the rim. Where he intrigued most though was in displaying a smoother and more confident release from beyond the arc, connecting on a number of deep jumpers both off the catch and pulling up when defenders when under ball screens. Already a high-major prospect, Hodge has a chance to establish himself among the cream of the crop nationally if the uptick as a shooter proves itself out over the next several months.

The two-way focal point for the Purple Roses, Hodge was steady and efficient with his impact on his way to scoring 22 points. Doing his damage at the rim, he was a consistent force as a driver both in the halfcourt and transition, using his strength, touch, and athleticism to finish consistently with his right hand. Hodge also shined on the defensive end, guarding across positions and using his quick, instinctive hands to force a number of turnovers. The only thing missing for the Belgian swingman was his 3-ball, but he showed the entire rest of the package that’s seen him already be prioritized by numerous high-major programs.
