Hatchett was at his best when he went north to south. I like how he attacked with the pass, driving to the rim with the intention of feeding his teammates or helping them get a good look at the rim.

Hatchett is an absolute pest on the defensive end – he was giving opposing guards trouble on Saturday and even took a charge while up 25 in the second half against CATS. Offensively, he’s strong with the ball in his hands and has a variety of floaters in the lane to convert over taller defenders. He can also knock down the three point shot. He’s part of a PSA backcourt group that is definitely the deepest in New England. Size will be a limiting factor for Hatchett, but he brings amazing energy and defensive pressure at all times which should calm coaches’ nerves.

Another scorer on Putnam Science, who can score from all three phases. Has a lot of skills including vision to be a good passer, handles to take the load off the point guard. This team is loaded with talent but I can definitely see this player come into his own over the spring, summer and next winter as a household name. He will eventually get more D1 offers.

Hatchett played mostly with the Storm and filled in with BNB. Either team, same story. Dominance. Hatchett has always been lightning fast with the ball helping him to showcase his blow by speed. But he now looks even stronger and plays off contact very well. Just another trait that allowed him to be a grassroots MOP and 1 of the top guards in the state.

This is must see right here with Big Nik Basketball. He has a host of Division 1 interest and offers for a reason. Hatchett is strong and aggressive with the ball. He attacks and touches the paint and makes plays from there for himself and his teammates. Hatchett can get off the ground and finish in a variety of ways.

– Visited Central Michigan University.
Hatchett has turned himself into an elite lead guard prospect. He’s added strength to go with his very fast feet and first step. Hatchett can simply make plays with the ball in his hands.
