Green is the archetype of what every D1 college and NBA team is looking for: a 6-foot-6, athletic wing who can pass, dribble, and shoot. The senior came off the bench for Putnam last weekend but still made his impact on the game in a variety of ways, most notably with ultra-athletic drives and cuts to the rim. In addition to his size, Green has incredible length, which allows him to extend for very impressive finishes against wings and bigs alike. If he can improve his three-point shot and start to find some more touch in the lane, he could be looked at by some of the best programs in the country.

Green just plays with a chip on his shoulder every time he steps onto the floor. He has the it factor and just plays extremely hard and has no issue doing whatever is needed to help win games. Green is assertive on the glass and comes up with rebounds. His ability to cover multiple positions and cover ground with ease on the defensive end is one of his best traits as a player. He had a double double in Putnam’s win over Hargrave on Friday. Green is a prospect who should be a priority for mid and mid plus programs could even seen him squeak into a few high minus programs.

Green is arguably the region’s best swiss army knife, a prospect with incredible two-way versatility. The Putnam Science Academy wing suffered a tough injury during the scholastic period, but had impressed throughout the summer up until that point. He’s got good positional size, is a plus athlete, and plays incredibly hard on both ends of the floor. He’s a terrific rebounder and as versatile of a defender as you’ll find in New England. His offense game continues to develop and he shows a good understanding of ball movement, cutting, and how to get to his scoring spot.

Green is one of the better jumpers in New England and should have some insane dunks for PSA this season. The 6-foot-6 wing has insane hops off of one foot and great timing and aggression when it comes to attacking the hoop. Like Merrick, he’s effective in transition because of his combination of speed, athleticism and body control. But in the half court, he differentiates himself by cutting very well off the ball which will only give him more opportunities for posters. BIG time athlete.

A 6’7″ wing for Putnam Science Academy, Green is the consummate team player in that he’ll do whatever it takes to win. In fact, he left Saturday’s action after suffering a shoulder injury while diving for a loose ball, just one of a handful of effort plays he made before his untimely injury. A standout with his grit and toughness, he also passes the eye test with a long and athletic 6’7″ frame. Few prospects in the gym could match his effort level as he consistently plays with a high motor and uses his athleticism to make plays defensively and in space. A nice progression for him is that his jumper looks improve and he’s also showing signs of comfort as a creator with the ball in his hands. Here’s hoping for a quick recovery and return to form, as the PSA product was playing the best basketball of his career this spring, and in the process, attracting plenty of attention from mid-major programs along the east coast.

Green, a wing out of Putnam Science Academy, checks into the rankings at #13, climbing 9 spots since our last update. An elite athlete with impressive measurables, he’s asserted himself as one of the most impactful wing defenders in the region. He uses his length to guard on the perimeter, has good instincts as a help side shot blocker, and is an aggressive defensive rebounder. Offensively, he finishes plays above the rim, has a quick first step as a driver, and continues to improve his consistency as a shooter. He’s a key piece for the Mass Rivals on the 3SSB circuit and is a prospect that mid-majors will be lining up for this summer.

It’s impossible to watch Green play without being struck first by his tentacle-like arms and then later by the ways in which he applies that length consistently on both ends of the floor. A graceful athlete with quick pop off the ground, Green shows elite instincts for the ball on both ends. Whether it be cutting to the rim, playing passing lanes, crashing the glass, or flying around for blocks, he’s constantly around the play without requiring many touches or anything to be called for him. Green has the tools and approach to be an elite defender on the wing up to the highest levels of college basketball. The key swing factor in his recruitment figures to be the consistency of his jumper, which looked smooth and fluid on a handful of attempts in Putnam’s blowout win.

Similar to his teammate in Edmond, Green has made an immediate impact in his first year at Putnam with his low-usage, high-impact play on the wing. He makes his living as an ace defender, using his quick-twitch athleticism, enveloping length, and hard-nosed demeanor to smother opposing wings while making off-ball plays across the court. Offensively, Green thrives as a spotup threat and as a cutter, where he’ll look to put any opposing rim protector on a poster. Green’s length and ability to thrive without needing the ball in his hands should attract wide ranges of D1 attention over the next year.
