About Jackson

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play from the elbows and short corners, I would say those are my sweet spots. I am comfortable making opportuities for my self to score and shooting the ball. Stepping back behind the arc I am very comfortable catching and shooting no matter if it's in the corner, the wings or the top of the key. In pick and roll/pop situations most of the time I make the right read. I space the floor well.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have made great strides to work hard all the time. I've come to understand that there is something great waiting for me on the other side of the pain, and I seek that. I've been around and played with older guys which has helped me become a competitor. I have high expectations for myself to be the best I can.

Fornes stands out with his size and length, pairing that natural frame with a smooth shooting stroke. He’s an excellent scorer from the floor, especially from deep and consistently gets to his spots with ease. His ability to stretch defenses and knock down shots makes him a dangerous perimeter option and a tough matchup for opponents. Looking ahead the next step in his game will be fully leveraging his physical tools. Using his size and athleticism to become a more consistent threat inside can open up new levels to his scoring. On the defensive end his length and reach give him the potential to be a true stopper, altering shots and controlling the paint. If he can blend his perimeter skill with an inside presence, Fornes will become an even more complete and impactful player this season
