A multi-sport athlete for Dublin Scioto, Jones has made an impact on both the hardwood and the gridiron at the varsity level. Jones is a quick athlete who wants to pressure the ball and use his quick twitch athleticism to turn over opposing ball handlers. Jones had some nice performances at the Ohio State team camp a couple of weeks ago and looks like a prospect who should be one of the most impactful players in his division of the OCC.

A perfect fit on the Nova Village 15 U squad, Jones plays tough defense, runs the floor and finishes open shots at the rim and from beyond the arc. Letting his star guards make plays off the dribble and either cutting or spotting up to make himself available and hitting the easy look has been the name of Jones’ game when I’ve seen him and he impacts the game at a very high level on both ends of the court. One of the better wing guards in central Ohio’s 2028 class.

Liked what I saw from Jones as a wing guard athlete who played with a sense of urgency on the court and was consistently in attack mode. Playing on the perimeter, Jones did a nice job of attacking closeouts and being decisive with his moves to the rim. After getting some buckets in the paint, Jones ended the game with back-to-back corner 3-pointers to extend the lead for Nova Village. A name I’ll be following along over the next few years.
