Bristol is a strong, 6-foot-5 wing who has looked pretty impressive at times this past summer and into fall. He’s attacking slower defenders on the perimeter, playing on balance, and has done a good job anticipating cuts off his drives. He’s also shown some consistency knocking down shots on the perimeter, and could really start to come along for O’Dea in his sophomore season.

Bristol is a physically mature player at 6-foot-5 who has the strength to hold off defenders on drives and finish around bodies at the rim. He’s also shown an ability to knock down outside shots, capitalize on space in the midrange, and has the awareness and activity defensively to get his hands in passing lanes. He’s a wing who could end up closer to the top of these rankings when all is said and done and could be the next big player out of O’Dea.

O’Dea has a deep squad and Bristol is one of the younger guys who shows a lot of promise already. He’s a big body at 6-foot-5 and looks like a kid who could throw his weight around and get to the hoop, but he also showed some efficient shot-making from the perimeter this weekend, dropping in some threes, taking advantage of space in the midrange, and showing some good patience to take good shots and not force anything up. He’ll be a kid to track who’s role could continue to grow this winter.

Bristol is a kid to watch with some serious potential. He is already logging minutes for O’Dea in big matchups, and he looks pretty smooth for a kid of his size. He’s strong enough to hold defenders off while getting downhill, has quick reactions, and knows how to use his size to create contact in a controlled manner.

Gavin has fantastic size being only a freshman this season, standing at 6’5″ and having a solid frame. During the WA PH Freshman Showcase he displayed elite athleticism and footwork for his age, throwing down big dunks and having many buckets down low when sealing defenders.
