Easton was a key piece for Discovery Canyon, contributing 8.5 points per game while bringing a well rounded impact to the floor. He’s a true three level scorer who works hard to get open and consistently finds ways to create quality looks. From beyond the arc, he’s a serious threat, capable of knocking down shots from anywhere. On the other end he plays tough, in your face defense, competing every possession and making opponents uncomfortable. His combination of scoring ability, effort and defensive intensity made him a valuable contributor all season

Easton can flat-out shoot the ball. That is what separates him; that is what is going to have him playing at the next level. He has unlimited range, has a quick shot, and once his feet are set, he’s lights out. I also like how much gravity comes with having such a shooter alongside guards as it forces defense to keep attention on him, and he’s constantly moving and cutting to keep defenses honest. He got a couple of transition baskets, he showed soft touch from inside, and proved he may be better than we even expected. He’s stood out so many times at this point that it’s a constant. Solid outing from him.

Easton showed strong command at The Expo with his ability to change direction quickly and keep defenders on their heels. He plays with confidence, comfortable handling the ball in tight spaces and dictating the pace of play. His soft touch around the rim and in the midrange makes him a reliable finisher. Just as importantly he has the vision and unselfishness to set up teammates for easy buckets, creating scoring opportunities with smart passes. Easton’s combination of ball control, scoring touch and playmaking makes him a versatile threat and someone who can both generate offense himself and elevate those around him

What Easton did with LOB Elite this summer had him as a summer standout, as he was lights out from deep. He had real range, and his teammates made sure to continue to find him. He’s a player that I was unaware of but he demands your attention with the kind of weekend he had from beyond the ar,c and we hope that we get to see more of that at the showcase. I like the way that he moves without the ball, he battles defensively, and can score in bunches, and if that is on display, we might see another jump from him.

Easton was another player for LOB Elite who popped on the weekend. He was one of the top shooters that I saw as a player. I did not know much about heading into the event, but I am thrilled to see more of him. He shot the ball from college and NBA range, moved without the ball to find open spots and open up the floor, and also created for himself off of the dribble. When he was not shooting the ball, he was slashing and trying to find other ways to affect the game, and that stood out to me. Easton will be a player that will be making his debut in the rankings for us after a solid weekend.
