Webb, a forward out of Deerfield Academy, did a nice job of playing within himself and using his feel for the game to make an impact on both ends of the floor. The future Williams Eph has expanded his offensive game out to the three point line and did a nice job of attacking closeouts off the bounce to get into the paint, where he is capable of using his length as a finisher. He’s an active two-way rebounder, does a nice job of being vocal on the defensive end of the floor, and continues to show better mobility and vertical athleticism.

Webb’s improvement over the past year is intriguing and impressive. The 6-foot-9 forward is big and long, but he also has a really solid skillset for his size. He’s great in the DHO and pick and roll game but also can create for himself on the perimeter against slower-footed bigs. He also does a good job keeping the ball high in the paint and finishing against smaller players. Most impressive, though, is Webb’s ability to defend guards and wings on the perimeter — his lateral quickness makes him incredibly versatile and effective on that end. The rising senior can really stretch the floor and should get scholarship looks as a result.

Webb, a do-it-all big out of Deerfield Academy, has made the most of his opportunities this spring and impressed for the Middlesex Magic on the HGSL circuit. He’s leaned out a bit, but still plays with wiry strength and good athleticism. He’s long, which he uses to his advantage as a finisher around the rim and as a defender when guarding on the perimeter. He covers ground quickly with long strides, which shows in his ability to run the floor in transition and make plays defensively from the help side. On top of that, he can operate with the ball in his hand on the block, from the elbows, and from the high post.

Webb is an incredibly intriguing long-term prospect who looks to have his best basketball ahead of him. He’s skilled and cerebral with the ball in his hands and can even hit the outside shot, but he’s still learning how to fully use his 6-foot-9 frame on the inside (although he had some really nice, powerful finishes with his right hand off the glass). The junior’s handle is almost definitely going to improve within the next couple years, and Webb should be getting some D2 and low D1 scholarship offers in short order. I could also see very high level D3.

Webb, one of central Massachusett’s top prospects regardless of class, had a terrific junior year at Tantasqua Regional. A high academic prospect, Webb is an inside-out threat on the offensive end of the floor. He plays with great pace, is a three-level scorer that has great body control in the paint, and does a good job of moving without the ball to get open. Defensively, he’s capable of guarding both in the post and on the perimeter and has proven to be a capable rebounder that can initiate offense in transition. He’ll be an interesting prospect to track this spring and summer as he has all the tools to continue rising up these rankings over the next twelve monts.
