Analysis: Miller utilized his length and athleticism to impact the game on both ends of the at the state tournament. He delivered strong performances being one of the best scorers and rebounders on his team. A polished scorer, he features one of the smoothest, most consistent jump shots in the state, capable of knocking down shots from multiple areas with ease. He runs the floor well and thrives in transition, using his athleticism to finish above the rim and create easy scoring opportunities. On the glass, Miller contributes as a solid rebounder, adding value beyond just scoring. A true two-way player, he brings defensive versatility along with offensive efficiency. When he finds a rhythm, he’s difficult to slow down and can quickly shift the momentum of a game. Miller was one of the top overall players at the event. At 6’8, he attacked the rim with athleticism, scored from all three levels, played above the rim, and rebounded extremely reliably throughout. He showed flashes of dominance that separated him from most players in attendance. (AG)

The Central Catholic wing was one of the better 3-point threats I saw at the event. He has the size to get his sights on the rim over defenders, and was pouring in three after three in his second game of the day, after dropping in a couple in the first game. He has a pretty pure stroke out there and was also able to make a difference on the defensive end, using his length to get in passing lanes and alter/block shots at the rim.

Change: +30 (from #41 to #11)
A role player last year, Miller should be one of Central Catholic’s top scoring threats this season. He’s grown to close to 6-foot-8 in height and this spring and summer showed off a fluid long range jumpers with one of the quickest releases around. His ability to not only hit open but contested jumpers will be critical in the Rams chase for another 6A state title.
