When it came to MVP honors of the game there was no doubt the pick was "Fuzzy". From the jump, the Parkrose senior was in attack mode and couldn't be stopped getting to his spots and he converted practically everything he took, whether it was jump shots or getting all the way to the hoop. He wasn't just looking to score the ball either as he was finding open teammates, grabbing boards, and being an absolute pest on the defensive end. When it was all said and done, Montague finished with a game-high 35 points (an event finals record), 5 rebounds, 6 assists, and 4 steals - one of the all-time great performances on record.

Solid effort from Lowenbach in the event finals, especially considering the defenses collapsed on him in the post and he routinely faced double teams and help coming at him from all angles. He converted a number of soft shots in the lane but also stepped out and knocked down a catch-and-shoot three, finishing with 11 points. As expected, he led the team with 9 rebounds as well.

Tying for second in scoring for the 5A All-Stars was Lawson with 11 points, but his contributions went beyond just the scoreboard. The Canby senior was constantly pushing the ball up the floor, especially after grabbing the defensive rebound - of which he gathered many in the second half. He finished the game with 7 rebounds and 4 assists.

Sharing the team lead in scoring was Long with 15 points. He was in control of the ball whenver he was in the game, making good decisions and looking sharp with his perimeter jumper and strong on his drives to the basket, finishing through contact.

Also scoring a team-high 15 points was Young, who got particuarly hot in the second half from deep which helped keep Mt Hood within striking distance. A trio of threes overall from the Barlow senior, who will be playing his college ball at Portland CC.

At game's start it was looking like another huge game from Miller, who had been torching the nets at the event to this point. Two quick threes and he eventually finished with 13 points, but where Miller continued to make an impact was with his work on the boards with 12 rebounds for the future Loyola Marymount Lion.
